Yankees Stole the All-Star Game

After what many consider one of the most exciting home run derby’s in current memory, featuring rookies Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and contest winner Pete Alonso, the weekend on Progressive Field didn’t disappoint in a competitive All Star game. Within that game, five Yankees filled the roster and their presences were felt.

Gary Sanchez Has His Redemption

I wrote an article on May 9th entitled, Gary Sanchez is the Best Catcher in the game, and it’s not even close. I thought that was pretty obvious, but saw enough angry posts from fans that I felt compelled to defend him.

The Kraken made his major league debut in May of 2016, returned to the minors until August, then put together one of the best half seasons of any rookie in Major League Baseball history.

Nathan Eovaldi as the new Red Sox closer, how will this affect the Yankees?

Nathan Eovaldi is in my opinion, the Red Sox’s biggest pitching threat to the Yankees. Eovaldi has been on the IL since April due to his right elbow; however, there is talk of the Red Sox moving Eovaldi from the starting rotation into the closer role.
