Learn more about faded out:

Faded Out is an original true crime podcast series investigating the most dark and puzzling missing persons cold cases. The series was created, written and hosted by Sarah DiMeo, while she was enrolled at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, and first premiered February 5, 2018. Season 1 followed the disappearance case of 12-year-old Johnny Gosch, who was abducted off a suburban street corner in West Des Moines, Iowa just as he was about to begin his Sunday morning paper route on September 5, 1982. In 31 episodes, the story was first laid out as it had been told many times before in TV news reports, documentaries and print articles. But suddenly, new witnesses began coming forward, and new potential suspects were uncovered that had never been mentioned before in almost four decades. Season 2 follows the 1988 disappearance of 12-year-old Doreen Vincent, who vanished under mysterious circumstances from her father's house in Wallingford, Connecticut. The goal of Faded Out is to give a voice to a missing child who does not have one, tell the world that they existed and that they had a future that was derailed, and to bring their cases to a close. #CMGPodcasts
