The Yankees New Unexpected Problems

The New York Yankees have had an underwhelming start to the 2019 season and to everyone’s surprise, the starting pitching hasn’t been the problem. It’s been the bull pen, it’s been hitting with runners in scoring position, and playing fundamental baseball. The Yankees have blown 3 leads after the 7th inning, are 27th in leaving men on base at 7.75 per game, and have played poor defensively and running the bases.

Red Thunder Strikes Again!

After a disappointing 2018 season for Clint Frazier, this has to be Red Thunder’s year. Frazier had a huge opportunity to show off his skills in the Major Leagues during the 2018 season, but that dream was taken away due to missing almost all of 2018 from a concussion. Injuries happen, as any Yankee fan can attest to, but it’s unexpected and can take a toll on a team. Prior to Frazier’s concussion, he was one of the top prospects for the Yankees in the outfield. Frazier plays hard, explaining why he got the concussion in the first place, as he literally ran into a wall trying to catch a fly out.
