What’s Wrong with Aaron Judge?
The answer is a bit complex. Aaron Judge went two months on the IL with a left oblique strain (April 21 to June 21). Many assumed it would be a season ending injury or that we wouldn’t see Judge until the Post-Season. To our surprise and delight, Judge returned early and seemed to be fully healed. Judge left with a .288 BA, but returned looking like the Judge we all know and love. Going 30 for 91, a .330 BA, with six home runs and a .460 OBP.

Brothers in Arms
As if the domination against the Baltimore Orioles wasn’t impressive enough this season (17–2 record 61HR’s), the Yankees managed to reach another historic milestone. Gary Sanchez and Gleyber Torres’ bats continue to match those of Yankee greats.

Domingo German: Legit Cy Young Candidate?
In 2009, CC Sabathia had what many considered a Cy Young season. The big lefty finished 4th, despite going 19–8 and leading the New York Yankees to a World Series title.
CC received a lot of run support that year. He was 13–0 in 15 starts with a 2.83 ERA when the Yankees scored 6 runs or more. He was 5–6 with a 3.95 ERA when the Yanks scored 3–5 runs for him and 1–2 3.42 ERA in 4 starts when getting 2 runs or less.
